Attorney Edward Lear

Edward Lear graduated cum laude in 1983 from Dartmouth College and graduated in 1987 from the U.C.L.A. School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and the Moot Court Honors Program. Immediately after law school, Mr. Lear joined the law firm of Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges, where he worked thereafter as a big firm litigation associate four years. After leaving the associate ranks, Mr. Lear became a Los Angeles-based State Bar prosecutor, where he prosecuted California attorneys for three years. In 1994, he co-founded Gerry & Lear, and 8 years later, in 2002, he founded Century Law Group .

Mr. Lear has tried over 100 cases, is a recognized speaker at legal seminars, has published numerous articles and has been qualified as an expert witness is state and federal courts.

Attorney Paul Virgo

Paul Virgo serves the Century Law Group in an 'of counsel' capacity and defends attorneys in California State Bar proceedings. He is an adjunct professor of law in professional responsibility at Concord Law School and at the University of West Los Angeles. He is a frequent lecturer or legal ethics and professional responsibility before numerous organizations, associations and committees. He also serves as an officer in California's Attorney Discipline Defense Counsel and is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers.

Mr. Virgo retired from the State Bar of California after 25 years of service in 2001, the last 12 of which were as an Assistant Chief Trial Counsel in the Office of the Chief Trial Counsel.
