Experienced Counsel and Reasonable Fees
At Century Law Group our attorneys have more than 47 years of experience representing lawyers in cases of legal ethics and practice management, State Bar defense and State Bar admissions and reinstatements. Attorneys Edward Lear and Paul Virgo also provide expert witness testimony in cases of legal malpractice and disciplinary proceedings.
Century Law Group offers reasonable fees that are described below. All fees are estimates and may vary depending on the circumstances of the case.
Our Fees and Costs at Century Law Group
- For casework, attorneys Edward Lear and Paul Virgo bill at an hourly rate. Our retainers are negotiable by case. Contact us for actual rates.
- For expert witness testimony, we also offer negotiable retainers. $2,000 of the retainer is nonrefundable as soon as a formal or informal disclosure takes place.
- For cases of State Bar Defense, admissions and reinstatement, our fees can vary depending on the circumstances of the case, including the length and type of case. Most of our one count investigations cost between $2,000 and $5,000.
- After the State Bar files formal charges against you, our fees may range from $5,000 to $15,000, again depending on the circumstances (i.e. whether the case goes to trial or not).
- Any post-trial work, especially at the California Supreme Court will increase our fees.
